Our step-in harness is designed for dogs who move with ease, allowing you to guide from behind. It gently tightens when needed for added security.

Best suited for small to medium dogs with a calm, steady pace, rather than strong pullers. Ideal for dogs who prefer not to have anything pass over the head, it fastens in a single, seamless motion.

A considered choice for dogs who are naturally at ease in harnesses.

Loosely heart-shaped, the "V' is front and center, dipping down on the chest to help you tell front from back.

About This Pattern

Oculus

The Oculus embroidery signifies the dog who is watchful, perceptive, always attuned. Their gaze is deep, those are the eyes of an old soul. They notice what others miss, and their loyalty runs deep.

  • Cotton denim on both sides
  • Nylon webbing
  • Polished zinc alloy hardware
  • Plastic side-release YKK buckles
  • Embroidery
Fit Notes

To put on the step-in dog harness, lay the heart shape flat on ground. Have your dog step their front paws into the harness, with the dipping center point at the front, facing their chest. Then lift the sides, along the body forequarters by the d-rings. Securely fasten the buckles. The rounded inner sides of the harness should land a bit above and behind their shoulders. Lastly pull up the straps to adjust for a snug but comfortable fit.

At this point the plastic buckles should be set for the future. Just put on the harness with a snap, clip on your leash and go!

Care

Denim: Spot clean. Mild soap + damp cloth. Blot dry. Do not soak in water or machine wash and dry.

Leather: Natural variations are normal. Spot clean gently, avoid prolonged moisture.

Nylon: Durable, easy to wipe. Use mild soap + soft cloth for stains.

Embroidered trim: Avoid play against rough surfaces to prevent snags.
